How Long is a Nature Walk?
How much does it cost?
- A nature walk is a 2 hour activity.
- Most walks start at either Kamp Koren (Kobarid), Kamp Nadiža (Podbela) or Prijon Sports Centre (Bovec) but custom start locations can be arranged.
- For guests at these campsites, it is an activity with no driving or logistics needed.
Where + When?
- Nature walks start from locations determined at time of booking.
- You must book in advance by sending a booking request, or calling/messaging +386 40 507 144.
What to brinG
- Footwear for walking on trails.
- Weather-appropriate clothing (i.e. a hat for the sun, raincoat for the rain).
- Curiosity and a good attitude.
- Children 2 and under join for free
- Adult (16 years old and older) = 30 EUR
- Children 3-16 years old = 30 EUR*
***All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
What to expect
Who Can Join
- A slow walk with lots of stopping to examine nature up close.
- Use of binoculars, magnifying glasses and field guides.
- Bird and tree identification.
- Examining aquatic insects in the river.
- Activities and resources specifically for kids.
- Discussion about nature conservation and human impacts on nature.
- Everyone!
- All ages welcome. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Should be comfortable walking and standing for 2 hours*
- Well-behaved dogs allowed ;)
